Register of state bonds : issued in conformity to the act of March 29, 1851, chapter 4, entitled "an act authorizing the issue of coupon bonds", from the Office of the Second Auditor, 1851-1871.

These records are part of Office of the Second Auditor. Public Debt: Coupon and Registered Bonds, Sterling Bonds, and Certificates. These bonds were issued in amounts of $500, $1000, $5000, £100, and £500. Also included in the sterling register is a register of state bonds issued in conformity to the act of March 2, 1866, in the amount of £100. In the $5000 register, there is also a register of bonds issued in conformity to an act of February 20, 1864, authorizing the issue of coupon bonds for the relief of families of soldiers and sailors in the confederate service residing in occupied territory. These records cover the period between July 1, 1851 and March 29, 1871.
